The hike: Plan A was to be the first of the season into Heart lake.  That didn't pan out. We brought motorcycles to get us in but the snow was just too much for us. We also ended up dunking one of the bike in the river.  Water got into the motor and we had to run into town to get more oil. At plan B we drained the oil and got the bike running again.  The hike into plan B was not a hike at all. We drove right to the lake. 

The fishing: Fishing was good. Lots of fat rainbows. 

The weather: Weather was partly cloudy and threatened rain.  Sunny days most of the time.
