March- My good friend Donn and I attempted a goruck.com 15k Star Course. What is a Star Course you ask...A GORUCK Cadre will issue you a list of way-points. The route you and your team choose will be your own, so choose wisely. The minimum distance possible will be just over 5 kilometers. You can expect to see some of the best sites in your city. We walked all over downtown Dallas and saw some sights we've never seen before. While we had fun, Donn and I didn't earn our patch. We were about 15 minutes over time. We put an address into our map incorrectly and this put us behind. Hope to make up for it in AUG.
COVID - grrrrr! nuff said
Have tried to Ruck as much as I can over the weekends in April, May and June.
June - Had a big storm roll through the area and an 18 wheeler ran off I20 and into Arlington lake. I hopped into my kayak and took some pictures.
