The hike: This hike is pretty difficult.  The elevation gain is on the back end when you are tired and ready to make camp.  The area is beautiful with several waterfalls. 

The fishing: Fishing is stellar!  16" to 17" trout in strawberry lake. They are even bigger (18" and up) in the no name lake up above. 

The weather:  Very wet this trip. We were cold and wet the whole time.  We had a blast and this is one of our favorite areas. Be careful in high mountain storms. Lightning is nothing to mess around with.
